Howie Mandel Caught In Explosion
Howie Mandel was out and about with one of his kids, daughter Jackelyn “Jackie” Shultz, in Los Angeles. She co-hosts his Howie Does Stuff podcast. The Gremlins actor noticed something that caught his eye, so he took a closer look.
A car was engulfed in flames nearby in a Shop4Less parking lot. With a canned drink in one hand, Howie Mandel was taking a video or photo of the car fire. His daughter was videoing him from a safe distance away. She can be heard on the video warning him that the car could explode.
Just a few seconds after Howie Mandel put his phone away and turned around to walk away, there was a huge explosion. He narrowly escaped injury. His daughter posted the video on various platforms, turning the scary moment into a joke. “Me: Psychic. My dad: Idiot,” she wrote in the caption.
