The new season of Big Brother is coming to an end, which means that Melody and Drew’s almost showmance has also come to an end. Now that she’s out of the house and living with the jury, Melody is opening up about her time with Drew. Turns out, despite how close they got, she never kissed him – and for good reason. Melody Leaves The Big Brother House
It’s been a wild week inside the BB house, kicking off with last week’s double eviction. For the first time all season, Melody pulled out not just one, but two wins. She ended up crowning herself both the HOH for the night as well as the Veto holder. She had the intention of getting out an icon. However, after Drew chose to keep Dee over Yash, a newbie was sent packing.
After the double eviction, the Pharaoh’s curse was set on the house after Devin’s pushed the button, securing $10k for himself. After another quick round of nominations and evictions, Melody ended up being sent home, taking the fifth-place overall title.
While she didn’t play hard until the end, she did have one relationship that stayed pretty consistent throughout her tenure in the house. That was with Drew. The pair were very close, often seen snuggling on live feeds. However, they never took things any further than that. In fact, the couple never kissed and never officially made themselves a showmance.
Turns out, it could’ve been more if Drew had played a better game.
What Could’ve Been?
While they seemed to be best friends in the house, Drew and Melody were actually on opposing sides of the house. Melody really wanted to get out a Survivor icon while Drew was seemingly eating out of the palm of their hands. Because of his bad game decisions, Melody reveals she was not going to reward Drew with a kiss, Us Weekly reports.
“I think everyone knows Drew really pissed me off a lot of the time,” Melody says from the jury house. “And my biggest thing was like, why would I reward bad behavior with a kiss or something?”
So will they be something more? Melody claims that at this point, she really just wants to be his friend.
“I have absolutely no idea,” she says about their future relationship. “I definitely want to continue to be his friend. I think he is awesome, and he definitely made my time at Big Brother great.”
