‘Claim To Fame’: Who Is Shayne Related To?

TV Shows

Claim To Fame aired the premiere of Season 2 tonight on ABC. Now fans are trying to figure out who everyone is related to and TV Shows Ace seems to have figured out who Shayne’s famous relative just might be. Did you figure it out?

Get To Know About Shayne

During the premiere of Claim To Fame Season 2, Shayne tried to say that her relative is a musician and won a Grammy, but it doesn’t seem that way. Instead, her clues make it seem like she is related to an actor. Her clue card gave out clues that made the houseguests think they might have figured it out though. They seemed to hint toward Eddie Murphy because of the clues that referenced Coming to America and his SNL character Buckwheat.

It turns out that if TV Shows Ace has figured out who Shayne is correctly then she is a model. Shayne has also done a bit of acting, but her career has never picked up. Now, she can add reality TV to things she has done and maybe she will get noticed by the right people. She graduated from high school in California and even studied English Lit in college there. No word on if she graduated college or not.

Who Is Shayne Related To?

It appears that Shayne is actually Shayne Murphy, the daughter of famous actor Eddie Murphy. She is very close with her sister Bria, but that isn’t the only sibling she has. Her dad actually has 10 different kids with five different women. Her mom is Eddie’s ex-wife Nicole Murphy.

It seems that Bria is more successful as an actress and model than her sister Shayne Murphy, but this may be her big break. The other thing is her sister isn’t the famous relative she is known for. Her mom was also an actress and model, but her dad Eddie Murphy is who everyone will know and why she was cast on the show Claim To Fame for Season 2. Nicole Murphy was on the reality show Hollywood Exes so it isn’t shocking that her daughter is following in her footsteps and doing reality television herself now.

Are you shocked to hear that Shayne appears to be Eddie Murphy’s daughter? Sound off in the comments below. Also, don’t miss new episodes of Claim To Fame Season 2 when it airs on Monday nights on ABC at 7 p.m. CST before the new season of The Bachelorette.
