DWTS Fans Tell Julianne Hough ‘Put Your A** Away’
The Season 32 finale of DWTS crowned a new winner in the young and graceful Xochitl Gomez. At the same time, there were plenty of performances from the pros as they will be going on tour come January 2024. Julianne Hough joined her co-host, Alfonso Ribeiro, and a plethora of pros in a fun holiday number. They had a handful of surprises up their sleeves. This included former winners from seasons past including Hannah Brown, Rashad Jennings, and Hélio Castroneves. Finally, former pro, Witney Carson, who took the season off, made her return.
They all donned holiday-themed outfits but, according to The Sun, it was Julianne’s naughty Santa getup that had fans talking. It was a one-piece, long-sleeved red sequined open-backed leotard with thigh-high matching boots. Some viewers were really harsh when it came to the ensemble and had no problem sharing their thoughts:
- Your outfit tonight is absolutely hideous! Put your a** away!
- This is too much! There are kids in the audience
- It was not flattering at all. I was praying she was going to do an outfit change
Of course, Julianne was proud of the look and shared it for her followers to see.
There, she received much more positive feedback. Her followers appreciated how much fun she was having and how well she did as Tyra Banks’ replacement.
- I’ve loved this season! You and Alfonso have done a great job!
- You were great. So good to see you back on the dance floor!!!!
- girl, is there anything you can’t do?! 😍
- Yes!!! Miss you competing girl! ❤️
Will She Stay?
Despite this positive feedback, Julianne Hough faced a lot of criticism as the new co-host of DWTS. She showed how she received an excessive amount of production notes for Halloween week. Plus, she was criticized for the way that she dressed and her interviewing skills. Many have just grown used to seeing Julianne as a pro dancer so this was a big switch for them. Luckily, she seemed to have a great time at the finale and will be at some of the tour dates.
