Sister Wives star Janelle Brown has been in bliss since she revealed that she has a new boyfriend, Pete. Admittedly, she was not in a rush to find love after leaving Kody Brown and polygamy, but this fell into her lap. Now, she is detailing how her long-distance romance with Pete works. Janelle Brown Has Found Long-Distance Love
After Janelle Brown left Kody Brown, she did not get a release from the church, which is the equivalent of a divorce. She waited and put all of that on the back burner, as she was not even thinking of what was next regarding dating. Rather, Janelle wanted to figure out her next chapter personally and see who she was away from the plural family. However, she did eventually get a release after seeing that her former sister wife, Meri Brown, had done it and was thriving. Janelle had also moved to North Carolina and bought a flower farm, which she completely loved.
She did see Meri dating while her close friend and other former sister wife, Christine Brown Woolley, got married. Still, Janelle was peaceful where she was, and then she met a man named Pete, whom she recently introduced on social media.
Followers were thrilled that she had finally found someone she truly beamed around and who complimented her. He will be featured in Season 21 of Sister Wives, and viewers will get to see their origin story. However, more details of their romance are being revealed. As it turns out, they are in a long-distance relationship, as he lives in Las Vegas. In a recent Instagram post, Janelle Brown did a photo dump and noted this:
- Tomorrow I go back to NC and Pete will stay in Vegas. We are slowly figuring out the long distance thing as we work to change it.
Immediately, fans were thrilled that they got a little more insight into the romance.

The Browns had infamously escaped to Las Vegas after fleeing Utah when it seemed their lifestyle could get Kody Brown arrested. Then, they moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, and that was when things took a turn. Yet, Pete is from Las Vegas, and fans quickly picked up on that detail. They loved that Janelle Brown found someone in her old neck of the woods and wondered what was next for them:
