Lately, Live With Kelly And Mark co-host, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, have been taking quick overseas trips whenever possible. When their daughter, Lola, moved to London, it was the perfect excuse for the couple to dust off their passports and make travel a priority. Over the weekend, they took time to stop off in Morocco to party with friends. Then Mark continued his journey by jetsetting to Italy for an extended trip. But Kelly needed to get back on set to keep the show going. Undeniably, these two are spreading their wings of adventure.
Kelly Ripa Gets Support From Others In Mark Consuelos’ Absence
However, while Mark Consuelos is away, there have been several people filling in alongside Kelly Ripa on the Live With Kelly And Mark show. Notably, the couple’s good friend, Andy Cohen, was a stand-in during Mark’s travels. Additionally, Steve Patterson returned to co-host for the first time since the COVID-19 shutdown. Admittedly, Kelly’s nerves were already running high with Steve’s comeback, somewhat afraid he could curse everyone again by reentering the studio. However, the root of her nervousness, she admits, was in reality because Mark was possibly in danger.
Mark Consuelos Loves His Team
Both Mark Conseulos and Kelly Ripa co-own a soccer team in Italy, the Campobasso FC. Notably, Mark travels to watch them live any chance he can. Unfortunately, sometimes that means missing work. Without a doubt, he wanted to be included when the more than 100-year-old soccer team was close to grabbing the top spot at the end of the season. Additionally, this feat is something they have never accomplished. Lest Mark was insistent on being present in Italy for the matches.
Kelly Ripa Worries About Mark Consuelos’ Safety
Meanwhile, excitedly, Mark Consuelos shared on his Instagram the team captured the championship after their 2-0 win against Chieti. While this was a huge accomplishment for the team, Kelly Ripa became concerned during some of their communications that Mark wasn’t safe. Seemingly, the entire town was celebrating the victory at hand. Then on Live With Kelly And Mark, she shares that Mark was diving right in the middle of the party, increasingly making her more and more nervous. She confess to Steve Patterson that Mark was sending, “Crazy videos” of the celebrations. Undeniably, Kelly was worrying about his safety. She told Steve, “I was texting back. ‘Are you safe?’”
Although chaos ensued around Mark Consuelos, he was having the time of his life. Furthermore, Kelly Ripa promises the Live audience that Mark will be back soon with plenty of details about his travels. In like fashion, she knows he will bring oodles of photos and videos for everyone to join in the major team victory. Seemingly, Mark is enjoying his time, but attempting to survive the elements.
