Modern Family‘s Eric Stonestreet Recently Appeared In Dexter: Resurrection
Stonestreet is an actor best known for playing Cameron “Cam” Tucker on Modern Family from 2009 to 2020. Prior to this, he was known for his work on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Recently, Stonestreet appeared in Dexter: Resurrection. He plays Albert “Al” Walker, also known as “Rapunzel,” a suspected serial killer believed to target girls for their hair, allowing the comedic actor to play a dark, chilling character.
The Modern Family star has since appeared on the black carpet at the premiere of Dexter: Resurrection‘s second season in New York City on October 8, 2026. He was accompanied by his wife, pediatric nurse Lindsay Stonestreet. The couple had met in 2017 at a hospital, marrying last year.

Eric donned a blue dress shirt, a brown leather jacket, black pants, and black dress shoes, while his wife wore a matching jacket, a floral print dress, and brown boots. For many, what made the moment especially striking was Eric flaunting a slimmer figure.
Last year, the actor spoke with People, revealing that he was prescribed Mounjaro after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes as well as to aid with weight loss. Looking back at his original diagnosis, he shared, “It was like this crazy happy moment cut with this diagnosis that I truthfully didn’t take very seriously.”

After trying the medication, Stonestreet noted, “It’s a game changer. It has just been incredible. It’s changed my lifestyle, changed my approach to eating, changed my approach to exercise.” In 2025, he also became a spokesperson for Eli Lilly and Company, the drug’s maker.

The actor’s mother has also used the medication. As he shared, “I experienced a little weight loss. My mom, she lost a significant amount of weight in her experience with it.”
