Terrified, Ysabel Brown wanted her father Kody to be there to support him. Kody Brown shut down the idea citing COVID as the reason why he couldn’t be there for his daughter.
For anyone who still happened to be team Kody Brown, this was the breaking point. The hearts of fans everywhere shattered as Ysabel broke down realizing her father wouldn’t be there for her. More recently, Christine Brown admitted during one of her many interviews that Kody breaking Ysabel’s heart was one of the biggest reasons she decided to leave him.
Watching the current season of Sister Wives and seeing Robyn cling to Meri to hold the family together while begging Kody to work things out with Christine, fans are convinced she’s a hypocrite and an actress. Sister Wives fans are convinced Robyn Brown is both a hypocrite and an actress because she never stood up for Ysabel during the previous season of the show. In the most recent season, Robyn has discussed wanting to hold on to polygamy. She’s discussed not wanting to be alone in a relationship with Kody Brown. Robyn Brown has also discussed how much of a protector and mama bear she is with her children (and Kody’s other children). So, fans are a bit confused as to why she didn’t put any pressure on Kody to go with Ysabel for her surgery.
One fan penned blasting Robyn on Reddit: “NOT ONCE did she stand up for Ysabel during that sh*t show of a conversation. That’s literally all we will ever need to know about her. When it comes down to it, SHE DOESN’T LIVE BY HER OWN ‘PRINCIPLES.’ And that, my friends, is why so many of us dislike her so much.”
Another fan added to the conversation: “Not only did she not stick up for Ysabel, she actively called her choice to go back to school in person ‘stupid.’”
