West Wilson will not be back for Season 11 of Summer House, while Amanda Batula’s fate is still up in the air. At the same time, the show’s spinoff, In The City, is in the middle of its first season run. That being said, with Amanda being a prominent figure on the series, will West leap over there if it gets renewed? Keep reading for what the cast has to say.
West Wilson Is Heavily Linked To Amanda Batula
When West Wilson and Amanda Batula released a statement that they were an item, it shook the Summer House world. Rumors had been flying that they were dating, but that was denied. No one could or even wanted to believe this to be true. Amanda and Kyle Cooke had just announced they were divorcing, plus he and West were close friends. Furthermore, Ciara Miller had previously dated West, and Amanda was one of her best friends; it was very messy. There was no advanced warning, and the cast was completely blindsided.

At the same time, Summer House had landed a spinoff, In The City, which some of the cast had been filming. Amid all of the ‘Scamanda’ drama, West was let go from SH after three seasons, which he predicted. However, he is still very much linked to Amanda, so will he find a new home on ITC? West’s former co-stars Lindsay Hubbard and Kyle Cooke weighed in on what they thought would happen. Ultimately, it is dependent on his status with Amanda when the show resumes filming, per Kyle:
“That’s the big conundrum.”
Lindsay, as per usual, had more to say and elaborated on how it would work:
“I think that’s what we’re also trying to figure out. And I think we just have to see how this plays out. It will probably come down to the wire.”
Lindsay & Amanda: Back To Good?
It is questionable if anyone could film with West Wilson again if he were to join In The City. As for where Lindsay Hubbard stands with Amanda Batula, she shared that she was texted the day after the reunion. She allegedly wanted to answer any questions that Lindsay may have had. However, what mattered more was their longtime friendship. Fans saw the two hash it out, but what happened after? Lindsay spilled the tea:
“At the end of that conversation, she had stayed longer after we wrapped and the cameras were gone. And I was like, ‘Look. The thing with me is you have to have integrity, good character, honesty, loyalty to be in my friend circle. And I don’t – I need to see that. You need to prove that.’”
Many fans who read what Lindsay had to say about Amanda felt it was a tad hypocritical. Moreover, they admitted that they have not watched In The City because of Amanda Batula.
