Kate Winslet’s illustrious turn on television continues — this time, with a new Netflix series.

Described as a vengeance drama in the vein of Thelma & Louise, The Unheard is a new series written by Adolescence’s Jack Thorne, and details about the series are starting to come through.

Here’s what to know about The Unheard.

Who stars in The Unheard?

Joining Winslet as the colead of the series is Maxine Peake.

What is The Unheard about?

The official description for the series tells us that Winslet and Peake’s characters are sisters who, after “an act of vengeance” goes wrong, must go on the run. “As they are desperately pursued, we ask the question: What pushed them to this reckless act, and was it ever their intention to get away with it?”

When does The Unheard premiere?

Details about the series’ premiere date have not yet been revealed, but what we do know is that the series will run for five episodes and is expected to begin shooting next year. Thorne has already written the series, per Variety.

What else is there to know about The Unheard?

This is the second major new Netflix project coming from Thorne after the success of Adolescence. Previously, it was announced that Stranger Things costars Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour would reunite for another series from the creator, centering on a father and daughter duo. That series is as yet untitled but is described as, “Disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe (Harbour) is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown) — now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps — vanishes on a mission, forcing him back into a field that has evolved beyond him.”
