Andy Cohen has been accused of many things during his time on Bravo. Yet he never lets it get him down, and he keeps pushing forward. Recently, he was accused of ‘Housewives discrimination,’ and rather than staying silent, he quickly responded. So, what did the executive producer have to say? Keep reading for more details.
Andy Cohen Questioned About Casting
There have always been questions regarding why Bravo and Andy Cohen choose to keep certain cast members. Some are controversial, while others are very off-putting. RHOC star Tamra Judge has been fired and welcomed back, but fans have no idea why. With Season 20 underway, viewers would be satisfied if she left and never came back:
- Why you back . U ruin the whole show always screaming shouting at others . Embarrassing
- This old hag needs to be replaced! Pure evil imo
- I won’t be watching because of you! You actually suck and are an example of a sh*tty friend and person.

Teresa Giudice is another one who has fans scratching their heads. Along with her second husband, Luis Ruelas, it is questionable why they have been asked back. Recently, there was a question as to why Andy Cohen keeps bringing on MAGA housewives:
“Why so many MAGA women?? I can’t watch [RHOC] anymore because of them.”
Andy tried to explain that it is not about political beliefs but rather the relationships amongst the women. However, that did not sit well with OC alum Kelly Dodd. She believes that it was her conservative politics that were responsible for her firing. Therefore, she called out Andy after hearing his take on keeping ladies regardless of their affiliation and demanded an apology:
“I deserve an apology. You were standing behind this cancel culture, and you know what? I can guarantee you most conservatives, which is a silent majority, [are] not watching Bravo or your show anymore.”
Bravo fans chimed in and reminded Kelly that was not why she was fired:
- She’s such an a**. She’s just pissed [that] out of all the conservatives, Bravo doesn’t want HER
- They just don’t want human trash on their station. She’s a horrible human and being conservative is the least of her problems
Andy Cohen Responds
After Kelly Dodd demanded an apology from Andy Cohen and possibly Bravo, he decided to respond. He read what fans had to say regarding Kelly and had to laugh, writing:
“These comments are [crazy].”
It is unclear what Kelly thinks she will get out of this. She has been gone for several seasons from Bravo, but would she come back? Moreover, why would they even ask her to return with her constant bashing? If Bravo only had Democrats in the cast, that would be an issue. Yet, casting Republicans has become a problem in this political climate, so it seems Andy Cohen and the network can’t win.
