Katie Bates Forgave Travis’ Infidelity
When it came out that Travis Clark had been unfaithful, the timing was awful. Obviously, it is never a good time to announce that one has cheated on their partner. However, Katie Bates had just shared that she lost the couple’s third baby. They released an extremely heartbreaking video documenting learning they were expecting, looking at baby clothes, and then finding out that the pregnancy was over. Then, the infidelity came out, and Katie admitted that she had a lot of thinking to do. She ended up staying with her husband; they moved to Texas, and Travis recommitted himself to his faith.
Since they have moved on and are seemingly doing better, fans are questioning if Katie is pregnant. When she did a “Let’s catch up ” on Instagram, someone came out and asked:
“Are you pregnant with baby 3?”
To that, Katie immediately responded:
- Lots of these lately and no, I’m not pregnant… just soaking in the two sweet babies we have.
Travis Clark and Katie Bates already have two children, Hailey, 3, and son Harvey, 23 months. However, they clearly want to expand their family, but this is not happening right now. After Katie noted how many times she gets this question, Bringing Up Bates fans rushed to her defense. They didn’t feel she should have to answer these questions.
Moreover, some stated that she has been through a tremendous amount, so it would make sense that her weight would fluctuate:
- I mean, if she was pregnant, she could’ve just skipped the question. Weight fluctuates, she’s been through a lot.
Leave Katie Alone
Katie Bates has lost a baby and lost all trust in her husband within a short period of time. Now, she is being bombarded with pregnancy questions. Immediately, followers felt that no one had the right to outwardly ask if she was expecting. It was no one’s business, and they were very protective of Katie:
- I’ll never understand why people feel comfortable asking this question directly
- I really don’t think she will be pregnant for a while, not sure she can deal with Travis cheating, a move, not talking to most of her family and being pregnant aswell it’s just too much.
- This is good. She should take a long time to make sure her marriage is stable before bringing any more kids into it.
