The Golden Bachelor has a lot of firsts which include a golden rose at the very end. Gerry Turner presented Theresa Nist with that golden rose after he got down on one knee and proposed. She happily accepted both the ring and the rose. Of course, that rose is very special. It’s not only the final rose of the season but also the first golden rose ever. Does Theresa Nist have her golden rose?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Theresa Nist was asked what happened to her golden rose. they also wanted to know where she plans to keep it. All season long, Gerry Turner had been giving out regular red roses during rose ceremonies. At the end of the season, there was finally the golden rose that everyone had talked and speculated about.
Gerry Turner proposed on the season finale of The Golden Bachelor. Theresa accepted and then he gave her his final rose which was a gold rose. Of course, that particular rose is very special and sentimental. So, what did she do with hers?
As it turns out, Theresa does not know where her golden rose is at the moment. She said, “I don’t know where it is right now, but I’d like to get my hands on that as soon as I can, and I will proudly display it in our new home.”
Gerry chimed in saying that was a great question. So, she somehow got separated from that rose with all the excitement. However, producers confirmed that they are currently searching and trying to reunite Theresa with her golden rose.
The big wedding event
Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner are excited to begin their future together. The two are not wasting any time at all. They are getting married on ABC on January 4, 2024. The wedding will be live for all of Bachelor Nation to join in on the festivities.
The couple is busy planning and Theresa dished what is most important for their wedding day. She said, “For me, it’s family, it’s warmth, it’s laughter, it’s love. I want warm moments. I want some things that actually happened on the show that were meaningful to us maybe to come to life again. I want it to be joyous. And have good food!”
Gerry said he just wants good cake.
