According to one Reddit user, the producers did Recchia dirty by having Mercedes Northup hand her rose out first. She ended up giving her rose to Jordan Vandergriff, the person Recchia was likely planning to give hers to.
In a Reddit post titled “Justice for Rachel Recchia,” the Bachelor Nation fan rails against the decision. “I am absolutely floored by how the producers continued to f*ck her over this entire season,” the fiery post began.
They pointed out that Recchia is “A former CROWN,” referencing her lead role in Season 19 of The Bachelorette.
The Redditor went on to suggest fans want to see Recchia and Vandergriff reunite for another chance, which would be their third since he was a contestant on Season 19.
“The producers of this show need to find new jobs or they need to start caring about the human beings involved,” the poster stated before saying they plan to boycott the finale.
