Fans who have been waiting on the new Paramount+ series NCIS: Tony & Ziva, just got a big update. On Wednesday, Michael Weatherly went to Twitter to share a photo. The Bull alum wrote, “Getting ready to being the adventure… #ncisverse #tony&ziva #desert.”
The photo shows Weatherly with his arm stretched out, with some sort of device in his hand. He is wearing sunglasses and seems to be looking right into the sun. Based on his hashtags, he is in a desert area. Best of all, it looks like they are about to start production on the new spinoff series!
What Is NCIS: Tony & Ziva About?
The new NCIS: Tony & Ziva spinoff is starting production. What is this new series about? According to TV Insider, the series begins after Tony and Ziva are reunited in Paris, and Tony sees her after thinking she has been dead all of this time. The series picks up after the off-screen reunion. That means the initial joy of the reunion may have worn off, and now the question as to why she didn’t let him know she was alive may be in the back of his mind.
“Since then, Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, Together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them, and maybe even learn to trust each other again so that they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.”
